The official website of the Village of Flat Rock.  Has up to date information regarding the Village of Flat Rock, with a calendar of events and information on all public hearings and meetings.

Two excellent hospitals provide Henderson County with some of the best healthcare services in WNC.

DuPont State Forest
The NC’s most visited State park, and about 15 minutes from Braewood’s front door, DuPont Forest offers over 10,000 acres of the best outdoor recreation available.

Flat Rock Playhouse
Generations of visitors have enjoyed the annual production of the Vagabond Players of the Flat Rock Playhouse.  2010-11 offers a blockbuster season and innovative programming helmed by Producing Artistic Director Vincent Marini.  Whether it is the newest of broadway blockbusters or the community oriented offerings of the YouthTheatre, NC’s state theater has something for everyone.
